Amy Caroline's Daybook ~ July 7th

FOR TODAY: July 7th, 2009

I am thinking... about too much! There is so much going on and I can't seem to keep up with all of it! I am even a day late on this post! Yikes!

I am thankful... that I have all my teeth, unlike this poor unfortunate gentleman.

From the kitchen... I have to make chicken pot pie. I was informed by Rose.

From the school room... I got the baby cleaned up! It was riving me nuts! There was so much clutter everywhere. I took out a bookshelf, moved a big one into my room. I had to put another in Rogue and Buckaroo's room, but I am hoping to replace the two with one larger one soon. Less than two weeks till we start up again!

Living the Liturgical year at Home... This weekend is the feats of Saint Benedict, so I am starting to think up ideas for his feast and our big feast of the month, Our Lady of Carmel, which happens to fall on Buttercup's third birthday!

I am creating... still working on those dolls and St. Cecilia. Her hair and dress are almost done. I have only the sleeves to do on the dress! I am afraid it might be a bit tight on the doll, though. I am combining two patterns and trying to gage things differently, so we will see. She might not have long sleeves, like I planned.

I am going... to take Rose to get her haircut. I will have to talk about our point system sometime, but Rose won the month and instead of cash she opted for a haircut at the salon. She is thinking of going short... we will see! I kind of think she should go for it. I love long hair, but hey, you are only young once and I think it would be cute. Plus, hair always grows back, right?

I am wearing... the usual, right down to the barefeet, I won't bore you!

I am reading: Black as Night by Regina Doman, so far so good!

I am hoping... To survive the week! There is so much going on!!! My brother is coming in next week too, so I have a lot to get ready!

I am hearing... the dishwasher and Lily singing softly in the living room.

Around the house... cleaning and prepping for our visitors! It has been so long since we have seen our Nebraska relatives, we are soooo excited.

One of my favorite things... road trips! But I think I will be burned out with them by the end of next week. After taking Rose to and some friends to camp, visiting the local attractions, I will never want to sit in the van again.

A Few Plans For This Week...

to many to list!!
